British science journal Nature launches India-specific website
11 March, 2008
UK-based science journal Nature has launched its India-specific website Nature.com/nIndia to highlight scientific research from researchers based in the country. This is the second country-specific portal from the Nature Publishing Group (NPG) after the launch of Nature China last year. The website will feature Research Highlights of interesting, recently-published articles by authors based in India from across the scientific and medical literature. It will also feature jobs, events, science news, in-depth features, and commentaries on contemporary issues affecting Indian science, reports Deccan Herald.

"
I think the second and the third screen will play an important role in building brands and consumer loyalty going forward. You watch the first screen (TV) from a distance, look into the second screen (PC) from nearer distance (two feet away) and then you have your third screen (mobile) with you 24 x 7 and very close to you. How effectively you use these third and second screens is the way forward for any brand. "
The only thing I do not like about the site is that they force you to have a login before reading any article.
It is more for roping in indian science community than making money.
Looks like there is alot of money to be made in India.
