StarTV.in premieres Mariah Carey's new music video Obsessed

Star Network’s online video destination Star Player (StarTV.in) has made Mariah Carey’s new music video Obsessed available for its users at StarTV.in. The singer-songwriter’s single is from her latest album, Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel. The album, released by Universal Music, is expected to hit stores across India on October 1, 2009.

“We are really excited that an international celebrity such as Mariah Carey has chosen Star Player in order to reach out to India’s music loving youth,” Gurtej Sandhu, senior vice president, digital and information technology, Star India, has said. “I believe that we are reaching a really significant point when major global brands are looking to reach the Indian audience through online video in general and Star’s products specifically.”

The video for Obsessed has been directed by Hollywood director Brett Ratner. Obsessed was written and produced by Mariah Carey, The-Dream and Tricky Stewart. Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel, the twelfth studio album of Mariah Carey's career, is the follow-up to her platinum-selling album E=MC² (released in 2008), and her worldwide 10 million selling The Emancipation of Mimi (released in 2005).
