Saleem Mobhani quits Hungama Mobile as COO

Saleem Mobhani, COO, Hungama Mobile, which is a part of Hungama Digital Media Entertainment, has decided to move on to other opportunities. According to MediaNama, Saleem Mobhani is likely to join Bharti Airtel where he would be heading Airtel’s mobile entertainment business.
“After having spent over nine years with Hungama, Saleem has chosen to take up another assignment,” Neeraj Roy, MD and CEO, Hungama Digital Media, has said. “Saleem has over the years contributed significantly toward the company, working tirelessly and full of passion and zeal.”
Saleem Mobhani joined Hungama in 2000, when the company acquired IndiaFM.com, a Bollywood portal co-founded by Saleem and Suleman Mobhani in 1997. In 2008, the site was re-branded as BollywoodHungama.com. [Source: Afaqs]
