This is a hugely exaggerated figure. Anyway, No internet company in India share proper stats with their advertisers so can't blame Zapak. Its just sad that bad sites like supergamer on zapak are reported successful. Also, i would say Online casual gaming is at its peak right now. Consoles and Social networks are pulling kids away. It would be interesting to watch Zapak this year.

1 million participants is just amazing. this is a clear indication of the popularity of online gaming and the future for the same. Online gaming is still in nascent stage is india and the response to this event gives you a hint of its maturity. Parle has striked it right by sponsoring this event. This is a good avenue for advertisers.
