There are many competitors for Monster in India. But if they are doing their job well, nothing can stop them.

I agree . They should look at ways to strengthen India market since US they seem to do ok . I have heard of they are closing down their field sales operations and plan to operate only through telesales . How funny.

It is important for monster to remain strong in US Eurpoe from where their bread and butter comes. Since, in india they have lost ground to local strong players like naukri / timesjobs.

They are fast winding up india operations by reducing team size upto 70%. In US careerbuilder is about to beat them too.
