by Satrajit Sen

Bangalore-based iStrait Software Solutions has launched LifeMojo.com, a healthcare website that seeks to help fitness enthusiasts eat right, stay fit and track their fitness progress online. According to the company, LifeMojo.com has already attracted 500 registered users since its launch on November 16, 2008.

“We have developed specific tools that help people to manage and develop their health and lifestyle,” Himanshu Khurana, co-founder, LifeMojo.com has told AlooTechie. “We have a tool that tracks the fitness level of a consumer depending on various parameters that include activity level, age, weight and height. Besides, we also provide rich content on various health related issues.”

LifeMojo also offers its services to nutritionists to help them manage the health diets and nutrition of their clients. The company also plans to build an online directory of nutritionists. This directory would enable users of LifeMojo.com to select a nutritionist and seek professional advice from him.

Besides, LifeMojo.com may also introduce an online fitness community where fitness enthusiasts could find likeminded people and discuss about various issues and find information about jogging parks, gyms and other fitness related products.

LifeMojo.com also intends to make its services available on mobile phones. “Many of our users have been writing to us about introducing a mobile offering,” Himanshu Khurana has said. “Our mobile offering will be a java-based application that can be downloaded from our website.”
