Consim Info has said its real estate portal IndiaProperty.com is organising a virtual property fair from 9.00 am to 9.00 pm on 25th and 26th June 2009, when users will be able to login and interact with builders about residential properties in Bangalore. According to Consim, about 20 builders from Bangalore are expected to showcase their properties at the virtual fair.

“Builders will display videos of their projects on the website and the users will be able to talk with the builders through phone call, chat or email and get details about their desired properties. By doing this, we are not limiting the fair in a particular geography. People across the world, who are interested in properties of Bangalore, can login and experience the fair. Moreover, one doesn’t need to take some time off for visiting the fair as it can be accessed from anywhere,” Murugavel Janakiraman, founder and CEO, Consim Info, has told AlooTechie.

This is the first online fair organized by IndiaProperty.com and the company is expecting around 50,000 visitors. “We had earlier held such online meets between brides and grooms registered on BharatMatrimony.com and the response was good. We expect the same for IndiaProperty as well,” informed Janakiraman.

When asked if there was any impact of the economic slowdown on the Consim Info’s real estate business, Janakiraman said, “The economic slowdown is having quite an effect on our business and to counter that, we are innovating. This property fair is also a form of innovation made to counter the situation where it is tough to get money from the builders.”

Murugavel Janakiraman also said that the Indian online real estate market is a growing category and it will take around six more months to get things back to normal. According to Janakiraman, IndiaProperty.com currently attracts about 1.6 million unique visitors and gets about 2.5 million page views a month. The website is claimed to have a listing of over 500,000 properties across India and around 1 million registered users.

I would like to know when IndiaProperty organises such events in Mumbai. I have been looking for a 2-3BHK flat in Mumbai for sometime now ( almost 6-8 months ) and whoever says the Market is slow and Recession is staring at our faces is HIGHLY MISTAKEN. Not one property dealer has reduced its rates. They are just the way it was before the Recession.

Muruga the best thing for you is sell indiaproperty and exit of out the business. You have pumped in lot of investors money in this project with out any returns. The top people in india property from sify dont really add up any value to the business except their highfi english talks.
SHOW ME THE MONEY LIKE YOU DID IN MATRIMONY I WILL INVEST MY PERSONAL MONEY YOUR IPO.
