exchange4media to organise quiz competition focused on Digital Media

exchange4media is organising ‘Digital Quotient – Will You Click?’, a digital quiz competition for people working in the Indian media, advertising and marketing industry. The regional rounds of the quiz competition will be organised in Mumbai, Bangalore and Delhi on March 11, 12 and 19, respectively and the final will be held in Delhi on March 19, 2010.

According to exchange4media, the digital quiz seeks to bring together digitally savvy professionals on a common platform to network and interact while simultaneously competing to win. It is open to anyone from advertising, media agencies, marketing companies, media students and other communication professionals. The quiz would cover all aspects of the digital world, including internet, mobile, social media, gaming, animation and technology.

“The idea is to evangelise digital domain to advertisers and marketers and do it in a way that creates engagement with the community which is both intellect and fun driven,” Anurag Batra, chairman and editor-in-chief, exchange4media group, has said, adding, “The idea is to have fun and self actualize considering we are all part of this knowledge economy.”

The quiz masters for DQ Regional rounds are Sunil Lulla, CEO and MD, Times Global Broadcasting and Mahesh Murthy, founder and CEO, Pinstorm [Mumbai Round]; Sunil Lulla and Sidharth Rao, co-founder and CEO, Webchutney [Bangalore Round]; and Raj Singh, MD, 2ergo India and Rishi Khiani, CEO, Indiatimes.com [Delhi Round]. Deep Kalra, founder and CEO, MakeMyTrip.com and Sanjeev Bikhchandani, co-founder and CEO, Info Edge India (Naukri.com) will conduct the final round to be held in Delhi.

The Knowledge Guides of ‘Digital Quotient – Will You Click?’ are Mahesh Murthy of Pinstorm, Manish Vij, co-founder and chief business officer, Quasar Media and Rajesh Lalwani, founder, Blogworks. To register for the Digital Quiz in Mumbai, Bangalore and Delhi, any number of two-member teams can participate for an entry fee. Each regional round would select six finalists. The top two teams in the regional finals would compete at the Grand Finale, to be held in Delhi on March 19, 2010.
