BabyCenter ties-up with SnapFish to provide its members photo printing, gift creating options
25 November, 2009
BabyCenter, an online resource for new and expecting parents and a part of the Johnson & Johnson group, has partnered with HP SnapFish to enable its members transfer, organize and print photos, as well as create photo gifts such as photo books, greeting cards, mugs and t-shirts.
Bala Parthasarathy, managing director, Europe and Asia Pacific, HP SnapFish, has said, “With the alliance with BabyCenter, we aim to reach out to new parents and help them create, buy and store personalized photo memorabilia with their little ones’ pictures instantly.”
US-based BabyCenter claims to reach 16.5 million parents on a monthly basis across 21 markets, including India. Jon Stross, general manager, BabyCenter, has said, “We look forward to working with SnapFish, a company that fully understands the important role that preserving memories plays for moms all over the world.”

This is second such tie up by snapfish in as many weeks and the format is same. i think it is a strategic move by snapship by having tie ups with portals having good registered member count and extending its services to the portals rather than to the end users.
